Program Overview

Build capability that moves between classroom, lab, field, and system.

The Advanced Manufacturing & Robotics program combines technical practice with mathematics, communication, systems thinking, and project work. Students move from machine and fabrication fundamentals into programmable automation, sensing, robotics, controls, manufacturing data, and integrated capstone work.

Program requirements

Complete the published bachelor’s credit requirement, required technical study, integrated general education, applied laboratory or field work, and the culminating program requirements defined in the approved catalog.

Learning outcomes

  • Operate and evaluate modern manufacturing processes safely.
  • Integrate sensors, controls, robotics, and industrial networks.
  • Analyze production systems using quality, reliability, and data methods.
  • Communicate technical decisions across trades, engineering, operations, and management.
  • Design and demonstrate an applied manufacturing solution in a real-world context.
